Réalisée lors d’un stage de deux mois auprès d’un illustrateur spécialisé en pyrogravure, « Prophétie d’une étoile filante » est une collection de planches de bois pyrogravées qui illustre l’introduction de l’un de mes prochains projets : "HOME : Where You Belong."

« Il y a bien des lunes, la déesse Soleil offrit au monde une part d’elle-même : une étoile qu’elle fit tomber du ciel, chargée de transmettre sa sagesse et sa bienveillance aux êtres de la surface. Cependant, cette étoile, différente par sa nature et ses pouvoirs, fut rejetée par les siens, perçue non comme un guide, mais comme une menace. De ce rejet naquit une âme jadis pure, peu à peu assombrie, consumée par la haine et la soif de vengeance. Lorsque le temps sera venu, c’est elle qui, dans son courroux, mettra fin à toute chose. »

Created during a two-month internship with an illustrator specializing in pyrography, “Prophecy of a Shooting Star” is a collection of pyrographed wooden panels that illustrates the introduction to one of my upcoming projects: HOME: Where You Belong.

"Many moons ago, the Sun Goddess offered the world a part of herself: a star that she brought down from the sky, charged with transmitting her wisdom and kindness to the beings on the surface. However, this star, different in nature and power, was rejected by her own kind, perceived not as a guide but as a threat. From this rejection arose a once-pure soul, gradually darkened, consumed by hatred and thirst for vengeance. When the time comes, it is this one who, in its wrath, will bring an end to all things."
